The Angel Oak was something I heard about years and years before I actually found out exactly where it was. I had recognized it by name when I passed through Charleston NC. The small park where it is located would not allow a tripod to be used so I had to very carefully get this shot. It was one of about 30 shots taken from this exact angle. I took extra time to remove the signs and support structures from the image so the true glory of the tree could be seen.
